It is set to be another busy and potentially memorable summer for England with UEFA Nations League glory in sight for Gareth Southgate’s men.
While the Premier League does not return until August and the Champions league and Europa League finals have been decided, fans do not have to wait long to satisfy their football fix.
The Three Lions will take on the Netherlands in their semi-final clash on Thursday, while Portugal and Switzerland will go head-to-head in the other tie the day before, LIVE on talkSPORT.
With the transfer window open and clubs looking to strengthen, it will be the perfect chance to look at potential targets, while players seeking a move away, can increase their stock.
talkSPORT.com takes a look at the players to keep an eye out for.
LATEST FOOTBALL NEWS
Bruno Fernandes (Portugal)
Fernandes has had a stunning season in the Primeira Liga for Sporting Lisbon, racking up 20 goals and 13 assists in 33 matches.
The 24-year-old played a crucial role in his side’s domestic final cup win against Porto last weekend – and unsurprisingly a number of clubs, including United’s bitter rivals Man City, are circling on the midfielder.
The Premier League champions are reportedly willing to cough up just £48.7m, along with some of their peripheral squad members in exchange.
Harry Maguire (England)
Manchester City are interested in signing Maguire but would have to make him the world’s most expensive defender to bring him to the Etihad.
Leicester are said to want £90m for the England international, which would eclipse the £75m Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk when they made the Dutchman the most expensive defender ever in January 2018.
The 26-year-old was said keen on a move to Manchester United after the World Cup, but the Red Devils were put off by the £75m asking price.
Memphis Depay (Holland)
The former Manchester United forward has been targeted by Champions League winners Liverpool.
Depay has rebuilt his reputation over the past couple of years since leaving Old Trafford, playing a starring role for Lyon.
Widely regarded as a United flop given his dreadful year-and-a-half with the Red Devils, Depay is now considered one of Europe’s best attackers.
He’s scored 35 goals for the Ligue 1 outfit since joining in January 2017, also chipping in with 39 assists in just 108 matches and is keen on a move back to prove a point in the Premier League.
Matthijs De Ligt (Holland)
The Ajax defender is one of the most sought-after players in world football and is expected to move on this summer, with Barcelona, Man United and Juventus showing strong interest.
Despite only being 19, De Ligt has displayed maturity beyond his teenage years, captaining his side to the Eredivisie title and reaching the Champions League semi-final.
He admitted he could move to England, but called Ajax his ‘dream’ club.
“I don’t really have a dream club beside Ajax. It was always my dream to play for Ajax and I succeeded.
“I look at what’s the best for my career and what’s the best place to develop. If it’s best to start the preparation for a new season at Ajax or another club.
“As long as I have a contract at Ajax, there’s definitely a chance I will stay.”
Callum Wilson (England)
Wilson has been identified as ideal back-up to Harry Kane, who has been plagued by ankle injuries this year and he has also been linked with a move to Chelsea as well earlier in the year.
According to reports, Everton are set to make a £35million bid for the 27-year-old striker.
He scored 15 times last season for Bournemouth and also netted on his England debut.
Joao Felix (Portugal)
Dubbed the next Cristiano Ronaldo, the Benfica star has been linked to Manchester United and Manchester City.
Benfica are understood to slapped a staggering £105million price tag on the 19-year-old, with reports claiming Man United have been turned down after offering only £80m.
Chelsea, prior to their transfer ban, were understood to be watching the midfielder closely as they prepare for life after Eden Hazard.
Liverpool also reportedly had a £60million bid rejected, with Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund all scouting him heavily.
