Montenegro vs England teams: Callum Hudson-Odoi, Declan Rice and Ross Barkley expected to start Euro 2020 qualifier

Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to make his full England debut against Montenegro on Monday evening, LIVE on talkSPORT.

Callum Hudson-Odoi will get another chance to impress on Monday

He impressed in his short cameo as his shot was saved by goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka before rebounding in off Tomas Kalas for England’s final goal in a 5-0 thrashing.

Jadon Sancho is expected to miss the trip to Podgorica with an unspecified injury, which has opened the door for Hudson-Odoi.

The Chelsea teenager has yet to start a Premier League game and has played only 119 minutes in the top-flight.

Sancho, Jordan Henderson and Dele Alli face late fitness checks to determine if they will play any part in England’s second Euro 2020 qualifier.

“Dele’s missed a lot of football with a hamstring problem. Henderson has the ankle injury he arrived with and Sancho was a bit tight after the last game.

“I’ll make some changes. The difference in some positions is so close in terms of who you’d pick.

“A fresher player may bring us more.”

West Ham’s Declan Rice is expected to feature from the start after, like Hudson-Odoi, making his first England appearance last week.

According to The Times, he will be joined in midfield by Henderson, should he pass his fitness test, and Barkley, the Chelsea star.

The remainder of the team is expected to be similar to the one Southgate selected for Friday’s demolition of the Czechs.
