Tottenham’s new third kit for the 2019/20 season will draw inspiration from their recently opened stadium, according to leaked images.
The shirt will have an all-over graphic print (shown on the glove below, which will be part of the released collection) that will mirror the design of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which has panels circling much of the exterior.
Set to be unveiled in September 2019, the shirt will reportedly be bright blue with a navy trim and, like all of Nike’s new third kit releases, it will boast the retro logo the American sportswear giants used in the early 1990s.
Spurs have traditionally worn light blue as an alternative colour, but they last used it back during 2015/16 as in recent years they’ve deviated away from it. Recent colour schemes include mustard (2016/17), purple camouflage (2017/18), as well as what is defined as Neptune Green (2018/19).
This third kit will not be the first time Spurs have used a familiar landmark or surrounding area for a design.
This season, their third uniform bears a graphic pattern which, on closer inspection, is actually an aerial depiction of the club’s locality in Haringey.
Further leaks suggest Tottenham’s new third kit will feature a retro aesthetic, with Footy Headlines claiming Nike’s third kit template for next season is rather old fashioned.
This means a number of clubs will be wearing retro style shirts throughout 2019/20.

Speaking to BT Sport, Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech said: “I'm proud of myself and I'm proud of the way I played today because when you play your last career game in the final there is a lot of pressure and speculation.
“I had to perform and I have to say I have done everything I can, and I can look back with no regrets apart from the fact we worked so hard all year to finish with nothing. This group of players do not deserve it because of how much work has been done this season.
“It is easy to say we finish empty-handed but I can assure everyone that the work we have done will mean this team comes back much stronger next year.”
On his future, Cech added: “I kept saying I wanted to lift the trophy and then think about it. Until 30 June, I am an Arsenal player.”

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho on Sky Sport Italia: “It’s wonderful to win such an important trophy after a long, tough, difficult season, but I think we deserved it.
“Aside from all the criticism, I think we had a great season. We finished third in the Premier League, reached the final of the Carabao Cup even if we didn’t win it in the end and won this trophy.
“Criticism is part of the game, but I want to thank everyone who made this long journey to come here and cheer us on. I salute my wife and kids, who unfortunately couldn’t come because of the absolute chaos it took to get here.”

“In the first half we played with good opportunities to take a good result. We got to the box with good options and chances to score but the first goal changed the game.
“We tried to stay in the match but their second goal made it difficult for us. It was going better for them and when we wanted to do something, we couldn't find what we needed to score. They deserved to win.”

Blues hero Eden Hazard on his future: “We will decide in a few days and the only target in my mind was to win this final. I have made my decision already and now I'm waiting on both clubs.
“I think it is a goodbye, but in football you never know. My dream was to play in the Premier League and I have done that for one of the biggest clubs so maybe now it is the time for a new challenge.”
On the final: “It was good. I think both teams were playing with a bit of stress with it being a final but when Olivier scored it was the beginning of a great night.
“We played well and controlled the game and I'm happy to leave this trophy with the boys. The manager said to carry on playing football at the break and today we showed this mentality.”
Eden Hazard has just said tonight will probably be a 'goodbye' to Chelsea and that his future will become clear 'in the next few days'.

Manchester United may yet finish in the Premier League’s top four thanks to a remarkable turnaround under Ole manager Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, they could still be denied a place in next season’s Champions League!
Since replacing Jose Mourinho in December, Solskjaer has turned the club’s season around and put them back in contention to qualify for Europe’s elite competition.
His work has been so impressive, he has landed the job full-time, but despite the Norwegian’s sterling efforts, he may be cruelly denied a place in the UCL by UEFA regulations.
England could have five teams in the Champions League next season, but it is still possible that the team that finishes fourth may not be one of them.
UEFA qualification rules allocate four automatic group stage spots to the four best-performing countries over the past five years.
Spain, with five straight Champions League wins as well as four of the last five Europa League crowns, are well on top, but England are significantly clear in second of the chasing group and safe with four slots for at least the next few seasons.
However, a rule change after the 2014/15 season means the winners of the Europa League automatically gain a place in Europe’s top competition – in the same way the winners of the Champions League always have done.
However, the maximum number of places any country can have in the Champions League is five.
With Liverpool and Manchester City fighting it out for the title, they seem set to take the top two spaces.
And Tottenham fans will grimace and remember how they were denied a place in the Champions League, despite finishing fourth.
In 2012 Harry Redknapp’s men thought they had claimed the last qualifying spot, but were shunted into the Europa League after Chelsea beat Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena to lift the prestigious trophy.
Chelsea, as holders, took their place as countries were only allowed four representatives.
Martin Lipton of The Sun explained how the stipulation could mean United missing out on a seat at Europe’s top table.
He wrote: “Since then, UEFA have changed the regulations to allow a fifth team – but ONLYÂ if the Champions league or Europa League winners do not qualify through their domestic championship.
“If Manchester United or Spurs were to win the Champions League but finish outside the top four, they would be top seeds in the competition next season.
“Likewise, should Arsenal or Chelsea win the Europa League and not make the top four, they would also go into the Champions League.
“Just suppose the title race finished: 1 Manchester City; 2 Liverpool; 3 Chelsea; 4 Manchester United but that the two north London sides won their respective European trophies.
“It would mean the top three being joined by Spurs and Arsenal – both as top seeds – with United missing out.
“The other Europa League slot would either go to the FA Cup winners (if they are not a top four side) or the team finishing seventh in the Prem.
“Unlikely? Yes. And it could all become academic within a few weeks.
“For the moment, though, it remains a possibility. And a slight worry for fans of at least four clubs…”
