Paul Pogba has admitted it would be a ‘dream’ to play for Real Madrid, especially now Zinedine Zidane is back in charge.
However, the Frenchman insists he is happy at Manchester United – for the time being.
On Wednesday, the World Cup winner revealed he wants caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to take over the full-time role at Old Trafford.
However, his latest comments suggest he may not be in Manchester much longer himself.
Speaking in a press conference on Wednesday ahead of France’s Euro 2020 clash with Moldova, the 26-year-old revealed
“Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world,” said Pogba.
“There is also [Zinedine] Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football.
“For now, I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy.”
Under Solskjaer, the midfielder has enjoyed an amazing return to form.
He has netted a staggering nine of his 14 goals for the season in all competitions since Jose Mourinho was sacked.
LATEST TRANSFER NEWS
Towards the end of the Portuguese’s reign, it seemed inevitable Pogba would leave the Red Devils – Barcelona even reportedly sent scouts to watch him.
However, his latest comments suggest it is Clasico rivals Real who could tempt the former Juventus star to try his hand in La Liga.
