Tottenham are reportedly ready to offer £44million for Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.
The 19-year-old had a breakthrough season with the Serie A club scoring six goals in all competitions.
He joined Roma last summer in a deal that saw Radja Nainggolan head to Inter Milan in the other direction.
A number of clubs have been interested in the Italy international with Real Madrid, Napoli, Manchester United and Juventus all being linked in the past.

Tuttosport reported earlier this week that Juve’s sporting director, Fabio Paratici, had met with Zaniolo’s agent, Caludio Vigorelli.
Corriere dello Sport, however, say it is Tottenham who are leading the race for the youngster’s signature, with Spurs ‘ready to present a €50million (£44m) offer’ to Roma.
The Italian newspaper also suggests Juventus’ interest in the midfielder is waning over time.

The deal could perhaps hinge on his contract renewal at Roma, which is still not close to being done, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Zaniolo reportedly wants around €2million a year to reflect his growing status at the Stadio Olimpico but the Serie A club are currently offering him €1.3million.
If Spurs were to secure his services during the summer then the salary issues he is having with Roma should not be a problem.
