Bernardo Silva has pipped Son Heung-min and Alexandre Lacazette to be named the most underrated player in the Premier League, according to a fans poll.
The Man City playmaker has been quietly sensational this season, recording five goals and seven assists in 29 league appearances.
But his superb displays often get drowned out by his star studded group of team-mates – with Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne often snatching the headlines.
The Portuguese romped home with 22% of the vote, while Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal stars Son and Lacazette took second and third with 17% and 16% of the vote respectively.
Son has been instrumental to everything Spurs have done this season, contributing 11 goals and five assists in 24 matches – and he stepped up when Mauricio Pochettino needed him most after Harry Kane was ruled out for six weeks with an ankle injury.
While Gunners forward Lacazette has also been superb for Arsenal but has been overshadowed by the performances of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who is third in the scoring charts.
